Hi! I'm Nick, and I'm an electrician from Brisbane, Australia. I've had a long time passion for storytelling and have always loved using my imagination to tell tales and bedtime stories to my 2 sons. Animals, too, have always been something that I have loved, and one of the most pure joys throughout my work life has been seeing and interacting with all kinds of pets.

 

With the expression "write about what you know" lingering in my mind, I decided to expand upon my experiences as a tradesman and love of all creatures great and small, and combine them into the playful story of "While I Was At Work Today".

I never dreamt of being an author, but my desire to share my stories with the world lead me to writing this book. Seeing kids faces light up with joy and laughter as they have the book read to them, fills me with joy and tells me I've done something good in the world.

This is my first ever title, and likely not my last. But for now, I sincerely hope you enjoy what I have created.
